Stephanie Roberecki, B.M.R P.T.

Stephanie loves to help people return to an active lifestyle when they are injured. She has a passion for running and triathlon and shares that passion with her patients that participate in these activities!

Stephanie has enjoyed many varied experiences as a physiotherapist since graduating in 1986. These include; Race Director of the Physio Fit Run since 1991; presenting at seminars for The Running Room, Arthritis Society, Joints In Motion, Diabetes Association, Manitoba Hydro, Canadian Pacific Railway regarding injury prevention, stretching exercises, office ergonomics; 10km clinic instructor for The Running Room, five years as a trainer for Winnipeg Hawkeyes Junior Football club, volunteer for numerous sporting events at all levels including Canada Games and Western Canada Summer Games, medical coordinator for the cycling venues 1999 Pan American Games; Chairperson Physiotherapy Alliance and Sport Physiotherapy Division Manitoba Branch. Academically she holds a Sport Physiotherapy Canada Certificate Level. Numerous courses identified by the Canadian Physiotherapy Orthopaedic Division, Sports Physiotherapy Division, Canadian Physiotherapy Association have been utilized to increase her knowledge base. She was awarded the Lenore Saunders Award in 2007 to recognize contribution to the profession. Stephanie has completed several full marathons, half marathons, triathlons and Ironman Canada in 2008, 2010 and 2012. An mountain bike enthusiast and recreational downhill skier, it is realized that injuries are in fact a part of an active lifestyle. Life is meant to be lived and Stephanie will do her best to keep you moving!


Trista Neustaeter, B.M.R.P.T.

Trista initially graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2003 with her Bachelor of Science degree. She then went on to complete her Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation (Physiotherapy) in 2006. Her interest in orthopadics drew her into private practice right after graduation. Since then Trista has completed a number of post graduate courses in orthopadics and manual therapy treatment techniques. In 2007 she completed her acupuncture certification through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. In addition to assessing and treating clients in a clinical setting, Trista has also been involved in speaking at seminars for the running room as well as other private businesses in Winnipeg. The focus of her most recent seminars has been running injuries and injury prevention. She has an interest in treating runners and helping them achieve their running goals! Her most recent endevor has been to start her certification in animal rehabilitation. Trista is a member of the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba. In her spare time she enjoys staying active and spending time with her husband and two dogs!


Karen Malenchak, B.M.R.P.T.

Karen graduated from the University of Manitoba’s School of Medical Rehabilitation in 2005.  Over the past 8 years, she has completed her Acupuncture certification, as well as a variety of orthopedic courses relating to myofascial pain, joint mobility, movement impairments and chronic conditions.  Along with treating clients, Karen was a volunteer for the Manitoba Physiotherapy Association’s Board of Directors from 2010- 2013.  She has participated in Half Marathons in Winnipeg, Fargo, Minneapolis and Victoria and is often training for a personal best in her next scheduled race.  She also competes in Indoor and Beach Volleyball as well as Ultimate Frisbee year-round.  Karen enjoys sharing in her patients’ successes and makes it a priority to educate her clients in exercises they need to remain pain and injury free.


Kelsi Abbott, B.M.R.P.T.

Kelsi is looking forward to helping you recover from your injuries and good lifestyle habits to prevent re-injury!

Kelsi graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2010 with a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation (Physiotherapy) degree. Since graduation she has had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including other private clinics, St. Amant Centre and Personal Care Homes. Although she enjoyed all areas her continuing interest in orthopedics has always brought her back to the Private Clinic setting. She enjoys working with her patients to develop an individualized program that will achieve their rehabilitation goals. Her main interest is working with the elderly population to maintain and improve strength and function allowing them to remain independent as long as possible. She also spends time educating patients on proper body mechanics and exercises to continue with once they have been discharged from treatment or during daily life activities. Her goal is to prevent further injury in the workplace or while participating in their favorite activities.

She has completed courses in Orthopedics, Taping and Soft Tissue Release. She is currently working on courses with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association-Orthopedic Division to advance her knowledge in manual therapy of the Upper and Lower Extremities.

Kelsi has volunteered with various marathons and races throughout the province including The MS Bike Tour, Physio Fit Run and Manitoba Marathon.


Lindsay Morrish, B.Kin, CPT

Lindsay loves to see her clients succeed and is willing to encourage them every step of the way to achieve their goals!

Lindsay Morrish graduated from the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Studies in 2008. She has completed her CSEP Personal Trainer designation, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist Certificate and is currently working towards her CEP Exercise Physiologist designation. Lindsay holds membership with the CSEP, MFC & MEPA. She continues to expand her knowledge in the area of health and wellness by attending local fitness conferences and completing courses related to Reconditioning and Rehabilitation.

Lindsay has always been an active weight lifter and has now shared in her co-workers passion for running! She has completed two 10 km runs and is now training for her first half marathon. She has chosen the Winnipeg Police Half Marathon in May 2014 and is excited to begin her training program!


Heather Haus, B.Kin, CPT

Heather was pleased to join the PTW’s team as a Kinesiologist where she was brought on board to administer reconditioning programs. Heather has a BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Winnipeg where she studied Athletic Therapy. During the span of her degree Heather not only worked in a clinic setting, she also worked on field as a First Responder. Heather worked with University Volleyball, High School Hockey and Football. Through this experience Heather has seen a wide range of both acute and chronic injury. Since

Heather strongly believes that physical activity is the key to success when overcoming an injury she attained her Certified Exercise Physiologist certification from the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology (CSEP). Heather brings this knowledge and her years of experience when designing and implementing exercise programs to return clients to gainful employment following injury. In addition to administering reconditioning programs Heather also works one on one as a Personal Trainer.
Heather strongly believes that regular physical activity is the path to improving overall health and well-being and she applies her philosophy to everyday life. Heather enjoys training and participating in half and full marathons. She has been a long distance runner for almost fifteen years and to date has completed fourteen marathons including Manitoba Marathon, Queen City, Fargo, and Twin Cities Marathon. Heather also enjoys triathlon. Starting from sprint distance events, Heather has worked her way up in distance and has now completed both Ironman Canada in Penticton and Ironman Wisconsin. Heather looks forward to helping anyone looking to improve their overall health and fitness through exercise!


Som Ling Thongsirimongkonh - Office Manager

Som Ling has graduated from a Medical Office Assistant program in 2005 and since graduation has worked diligently in both a hospital and office setting.  With 9 years of experience in office and education in the health sector, she understands the importance of maintaining a professional environment.  She is passionate about her work and it is her priority to make our patient's visit to the clinic as comfortable as possible.  She understands that all our patients live a busy life and for that reason she will work with each individual to accommodate a specific date and time that would work best for them.  Please contact Som Ling with any questions and she will be more than delighted to assist you.
